The best of beer and fine, wood-fired pizza, even if not located in the same exact premises, are relished in Haines, Alaska, served up in the middle of an Alaskan movie set created in 1991 for “White Fang.”  ( Early Ethan Hawke.) The set is now the site of the Southeast Alaska State Fairgrounds in Haines.

The beer is from Haines Brewing Company, established 1999, the pizza a few feet away is available at the Klondike Saloon. When we were there last summer, you had to carry the pizza outside in order to eat it with the brew. 

“Beer can be purchased by the sample glass or pint to consume on premise, or by the liter or half gallon to go.

Haines Brewing Company is a proud supporter of the Great Alaska Craft Beer Festival held every year in Haines.”
